# Disable pinch-to-zoom on mobiles

When visitors land on your website from a phone/tablet, they can pinch the screen to zoom the web page. Some themes allow that, some don't. By default in Rey, the pinch-to-zoom is **enabled**. If you wand to **disable** it, you can add this snippet in ***functions.php*** of the ***active child theme***:

```
function remove_my_action() {
  remove_action('wp_head', 'rey_add_viewport_meta');
}
function custom_rey_add_viewport_meta(){
  echo '<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0, user-scalable=0" />';
}
add_action( 'init', 'remove_my_action');
add_action( 'wp_head', 'custom_rey_add_viewport_meta' );
```
